Registered on 4 June 2009, elenen.org is my creative outlet. I'm the kind of girl who likes to overanlyze fictional characters, play games in a foreign language, and rock out to a guy who's easily confused for a woman. This is where it all comes together in some semblance of organization.

Put simply, this is my collective, a selection of domains, fansites, and fanlistings dedicated to the things I love most. It was once housed at orenjipan.com, which I felt was too personal to use for fandom-related things, as it was the name of my novel. Since I make very little sence and lack foresight, I named it after the world in said novel, Elenen, which is the current working title. Ah, well. I really like the name, at least. The network name, rewrite/history, comes from the fact that I'm endlessly rewriting my novel, and every time its history gets a little more convoluted. It's also inspired by the song "Rewrite" by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.

So who am I? You can call me Larissa, and I've been in the site-making business since about 2002, though I've only been at this collective thing since July 2007. My interests lie in anime, manga, video games (with a heavy focus on jRPGs), TV shows (mostly dramas and science fiction), reading, and writing. The only problem is that I can never figure out how to enjoy all of the things I like in a reasonable amount of time...

This domain is hosted by Surpass Hosting for $60/year, a rather affordable rate for far more space than I actually use. I buy all domains through Namecheap, which I highly recommend.

Version: #3: the four seasons

In early December, I started working on an idea for a novel that heavily focuses on the seasons. While the idea is still very much in development, I wanted to make some kind of layout off of that idea. When I finally got a clear idea of what I wanted, I was worried that it would be difficult to code, but in the end it was remarkably easy; thankfully I'd done something with different things showing up on hover before. The layout name comes, of course, from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons; page headers come from song titles. The photographs used in the layout were taken by Shandi-lee, rafaelm, Axel-D, and freefotouk, all on Flickr, and are used under the terms of their Creative Commons licenses. The background pattern is modified from a DinPattern pattern, and the brushes used are by prfction and lovelytrash.org.
